Creating an Account and Signing In

Welcome to Qubit-Pro! This guide will show you how to set up your account and log in to the platform for the first time.

Step 1: Sign Up for a New Account
---------------------------------

1. Open your web browser and navigate to the **Sign Up** page.
2. In the registration form, fill in the following information:
   * **Full Name**: Your first and last name (for example, *Ada Lovelace*).
   * **Organization**: The company, university, or research team you work for (for example, *Acme Quantum*).
   * **Work Email**: Your professional email address.
   * **Password**: Create a secure password. It must be at least 8 characters long.
   * **Confirm Password**: Type your password again to make sure there are no typos.

*What this means:* Creating an account links your profile to your organization so you can share designs and coordinate simulations with your colleagues.

Step 2: Accept the Terms of Service
-----------------------------------

1. Read the **Terms of Service** and **Privacy Policy** by clicking their links on the form.
2. Click the checkbox next to the line that says "I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy."
3. (Optional) Check the box to receive product updates and newsletters if you wish.
4. Click the **Create account** button.

*What you just did:* By checking the box and submitting the form, you officially register your profile on the system. You will see a success message welcoming you to the platform.

Step 3: Sign In with Your Credentials
-------------------------------------

If you already have an account, or after you have created a new one:

1. Navigate to the **Sign In** page.
2. Enter your registered email address in the **Work email** field.
3. Enter your password in the **Password** field.
4. Click the **Sign in** button.

*What this means:* Signing in verifies your identity and loads your personal workspace settings and projects.

Step 4: Recover a Forgotten Password
------------------------------------

If you cannot remember your password:

1. Click the **Forgot password?** link on the Sign In page.
2. In the recovery form, type your registered email address.
3. Click the **Send reset link** button.
4. Open your email inbox, look for the reset email, and follow the instructions to choose a new password.
5. Click **Back to sign in** once you are done.

*What you just did:* You requested a secure reset link. This prevents unauthorized users from changing your password while allowing you back into your workspace.

Step 5: The Workspace Dashboard
-------------------------------

1. Immediately after successfully signing in, you will be taken to your **Workspace Dashboard**.
2. From here, you can see all your existing chip design projects and active simulations.
